SPERM ART ~ I haven’t left the planet yet…
I’m still here! I haven’t written in awhile for numerous reasons…
I have been in the DC area for 5 weeks…
(see my other blog: www.theartangel.wordpress.com for details about my trip)
Right now I’m going through a lot of challenges in my personal life, some involving my “safe sex sperm art”, which I’ll get into more detail, after talking with my lawyer.
Also, dealing with the loss of my business flooding over 5 years ago. I guess I have my hands full and just trying to stay POSITIVE & not let things get me down. I continue to focus diligently on my work, take walks, write, create and work with children whenever possible…stay close to friends & family… and DANCE!
Dancing always makes me feel better!
I have to say it is really children, that keep me, keeping on… to make earth a sweet & safe place!
I guess that’s all I can do. Simple acts, like, painting a butterfly on a childs face brings so much joy to a child and makes me feel good too!
I’m feeling a little blue & discouraged today…but as always…I’m hanging in there.

YES! It’s true! I’m absolutely nuts about sperm! For over 20 years I have been making it!
And I’m not even male! Maybe it’s sperm envy?
I can’t help myself…it’s just so darn cute!
What’s wrong with me!?!
So, yesterday, my “SPERM” partner calls to tell me the 15,000 stress
relieving sperm have arrived (63 boxes)! Where to put them!?!
UH, GEE, I DON’T KNOW! (I’m way up North!)
About an hour later he calls again in a panic!
“OMG, many of the boxes are NOT filled with SPERM… but BLUE BALLS!”
Did he say “BLUE BALLS”?
Yes! They accidentally sent several boxes of BLUE BALLS instead of sperm!
OK, I find this perfectly hysterical!
OF COURSE, it had to be “blue balls”!
Suddenly I think I’m in some reality show sitcom!
I mean they could have sent by accident key chains, or magnets, or even RED Balls…but NO!
They sent BLUE BALLS! How perfect is that!? Had to laugh!
OK, SPERM ALERT!
All you fellas out there…I know you probably have 40 million sperm looking for a home
(on a daily basis!) …and, well, I only have 15,000…but mine take up more space!

Once Upon A Time I was A Sperm ~ Part Two
Continued…After the divorce, my sperm art took on a new meaning…no longer the cheer-leading fertility sperm! Now it was about being single and practicing safe sex…during my marriage 1988 - 1995, AIDS was running rampant! My husband & I didn’t use protection because we were trying to get pregnant…now, all that changed.
”MAKE LOVE & DIE!”, is the message you heard, as there was no cure in sight!
WOW! Make love & die… It so sad. I’m lucky it wasn’t around in the 70’s, when pretty much no one was using protection! Now, one of the most intimate, amazing, wonderful thing 2 people can share with each other…can be dangerous! It’s such a disturbing contradiction.
After my divorce my sperm art & sperm products definitely focused more on safe sex and HIV/AIDS awareness. I teamed up with a friend and our mission was (and still is!) to make safe sex fun and effective. We created WIDESPREAD AWARENESS LLC and started making safe sex awareness products that were cute & fun but the message was about the seriousness of safe sex, focusing mostly on AIDS & family planning..
I sculpted a larger sperm I call “MY PET SPERM”, from my character drawing with sculpy, sent it to a promo company and had stress ball sperm character dolls made. We called him a “pet”, because you take care of pets, and quite frankly, in a sense, we need to take care of our sperm or our encounters with sperm! It sounds odd, but it’s true and it really is a matter of life & death! That was the concept behind MY PET SPERM, and that is how he came to be.
